I'm running Everything as a service, so it has nothing to do with a TCC session, elevated or otherwise.
If Everything is set to run at startup, TCC is nowhere in sight (unless the Everything service start up TCC for some reason).
Similarly, I can start the Everything UI w/o ever having run TCC.
That just delays the problem until I first want to use Everything - I start it up and it quickly heads for >90% of the CPU.
Seems like very rude behavior for just about any application or service...
TC v23 on Win10 Pro x64
When the computer starts up Everything starts running, taking >50% of the CPU.
It takes as much as >90% for significant bits of time.
This leaves the computer pretty much unusable...
s there a way to limit the CPU use by Everything?
I don't care if it takes longer to...

TC 20.11.46
So far this morning, Take Command has stopped working on two different occasions, putting up the "Stopped working" message, then a dialog announcing it is restarting.
TC was sitting minimized with two tabs, each tab running Powershell.
There is no tab running tcc...
TC 20.11
Win10 x64 Home
This has happened several times over the last two weeks, generally while TC is minimized.
When it restarts, it forgets what theme was selected, as well as some other options.
I generally have two tabs, each with an instance of Powershell.
Any ideas on what causes this...
Nope, just running "C:\Program Files\JPSoft\TCMD17\tcmd.exe".
Even w/o using a link -- tcmd.ini itself in the TCMD17 dir -- TakeCommand seems to ignore it.
Could there be some strange permissions issue w/r/t "C:\Program Files" ?

TCC 15.01.51 x64 Windows 7 [Version 6.1.7601]
Hello,
I create a link like this:
- In c:\bin, is there a way to list all the links? 'dir' doesn't seem to be able to do it.
- Once I know that c:\bin\msbld12.bat is a link, is there a way to determine what it is linked to?
Thanks for any...
Would that happen -- another app 'injecting' something into TCC.EXE w/o my setting it up? As far as I know, I am doing nothing of the sort...
Here's a snapshot from TaskManager, immediately after starting TakeCommand:
TCC 14.03.59 x64 Windows 7 [Version 6.1.7601]
Hello,
I have three tcc.exe tabs open, with TakeCommand minimized in the taskbar. I am not running any programs or batch file in any of the tabs.
When I look at TaskManager, I generally see that each tab is getting ~5% of the CPU.
What are they...
