The Prompt Solution September 2018 No Images? Click here Take Command v24 Call for FeaturesWe're beginning the design phase for Take Command / TCC / CMDebug / TCC-RT version 24. If you have suggestions or compatibility issues, please post them to our Suggestions Forum. And while you're there, read through the other suggestions and add your support and/or comments. New Windows 10 AttributesMicrosoft has added two new file attributes in recent versions of Windows 10:
The latest TCC builds (23.0.28 or later) support these attributes in internal commands and functions (ATTRIB, DIR, PDIR, etc.). Because of a conflict with the new Pinned attribute, the Sparse attribute has been changed to F. Restarting Take Command ElevatedSometimes you need to run your console sessions in an elevated session (i.e., "run as administrator"). If you already started Take Command in a non-elevated session, you either have to start another Take Command, or close the current session and restart it (and lose your current tabs). Take Command v23 has a new option to "Restart Elevated". This will temporarily detach your existing tab windows, close Take Command, start a new Take Command elevated session, and reattach your tab windows. The existing tab windows will still be normal (non-elevated) sessions, but all new tab windows will open as elevated. IPv6 Support Added to TCCTCC v23 supports IPv6 for all relevant internal commands (JABBER, SENTHTML, SENDMAIL, SMPP, etc.). See the command help for details. |
