JP Software web site

For the last three months, we’ve been working on a complete overhaul of the (rather tired?) JP Software web site, store, and forums. You’ve seen some of this already in the new forum design, and now we’re rolling out the new web site and store.

It’s a radical transformation — less cluttered than before, and IMO a much more attractive layout. We’ve been working with Sarah Ryan at for the design, and we highly recommend her work. We’ve also switched to FastSpring ( for the store, and they’ve been a pleasure to work with.

If you love (or hate) the new site, if you want us to add more content (or if we’ve inadvertently removed your favorite content!), write a comment.

  1. On the Plugins page, there is a super-brief description of the plugins available for download. The descriptions are one line each.

So users don’t have to download each ZIP file to see what the contents are really like, could the description of each third-party Plugin be expanded to (say) 3, 4, or 5 lines each? If there is an internal FILE_ID.DIZ or something similar in the archive, use that.

    • I’ll be happy to add more to the descriptions, but the plugin authors are going to have to write them and send them on to me.
