    Problem with tab completion

In Safe mode (run CMD.EXE, cd \program files\jpsoft\tcmd31, tcc /i) exactly the same happens on pressing F7 (Tried with /d as well, no change) Ran tabcomplete /u * When I pressed F7, it still hung Command Prompt (cmd.exe) is set not to use Legacy Console, and the 'Default Terminal Application'...

    Problem with tab completion

Ok, now I'm confused :-) My tcmd.ini has If I change it to just Ctrl-Tab, in stand-alone TCC, it does exactly the same as F7, and just hangs. I've tried it in v25, v28 and v31 (the only versions I have installed at the moment) and they're all the same (Ctrl-Tab in TCMD does tab switching)...

    Problem with tab completion

Still the same after a reboot The PgUp (command history) and F6 (dir history) windows seem to be working fine

    Problem with tab completion

It's getting a list of filenames with a certain filename prefix (it's getting files that match 'csrfile_*') However, your question made me try something, and it appears that it's actually the 'F7' functionality that's broken for me. Pressing F7 on my PC either beeps (if there are no files)...

    Problem with tab completion

I'm trying to write a tab completion script (in BTM) and am having problems. I was trying in v28 which didn't work, so I have just upgraded to v31 to see if that fixed the problem, but nothing has changed. If my script just returns a single filename, that works. If it returns a couple of...

    Problem with FTP copies

Odd. Here, I can download at 1Gbps using wget, FTP, Filezilla etc, but if I use TCC, it truncates it randomly unless I put severe bandwidth throttling on, then it works fine. (FWIW, I've tried changing our unit tests to download the large file use IPWorks ftp::download() and that works fine for...

    Problem with FTP copies

It's just a standard VSFTPD FTP server running on Ubuntu. Using IFTP /V shows it seeing the correct size of the file and no errors - but the resulting file is still too small See screenshot below Oddly, I've just set up a test FTP server at Digital Ocean using an *identical* setup to our...

    Problem with SFTP copies

Ah! We're using IPWorks here as well and ran into a similar problem - what we do is the other way around to what you're doing: try to copy the specified file. If that doesn't work, then assume it's a directory and try that.

    Problem with FTP copies

Nope. Still doesn't work That does seem to stop at a random point. I tried it again, and then the downloaded file was 121,397,248 bytes, and again, and it was 121,896,960 bytes. (Wget or other FTP client software consistently downloads everything). Note that 'testserver' is on my local LAN...

Done Have option not to pause TCMD console output when mouse is clicked elsewhere

Pausing the console output within TCMD when the mouse is clicked within TCMD is a good idea because it allows you to select text, but pausing the output when the mouse is clicked elsewhere is odd and achieves nothing because you can't then select text by dragging the (still-clicked) mouse into...

    Press on another Window

Yeah, this is a bit odd. What I would expect is that if you click on the TCMD window and then drag out, that it keeps the mouse 'grab' for the TCMD window until you release the mouse or move back into the window. But if you click outside of the TCMD window, nothing should happen within TCMD at...

    Problem with FTP copies

BTW, if I use wget to copy the file, that gets the full file, so it's not an FTP server problem

    Problem with SFTP copies

Take Command v25.00.20 x64 I'm not sure if this one is user error or not, but, if so, it seems inconsistent Following on from my FTP copy problem (my previous post), I tried using SFTP instead. The server is set up support that as well. TCC seems to add '/*' onto my SFTP path, which then...

    Problem with FTP copies

Take Command v25.00.20 x64 I have a file that's ~123MB on an FTP server. If I try to copy it to my local PC using TCC, then it stops the transfer nearly at the end. The transferred size is 0x740e000, which looks like a suspiciously round hex number

    Take Command 25.00.17 crashing

I'm using BitDefender. I'll try putting back the original TCMD 25 and see if disabling the AV makes any difference.
