I entered following incorrect (no valid syntax) try: for /l %n in (1,1,10) (for %fn in (*) if not isfile "tests3\%@format[[04,%n]\%fn]]" echo "%fn") This will crash TC reproducable (here). TC restarts automatically after. Even if the syntax is wrong, TC should not crash, so that seems a bug...
