I recently upgraded my Windows OS to Windows 7. I tried to reinstall 4NT 8.02 which appeared to install fine. When I tried to register my license, it said it was successfully registered, however, when I re-ran a new 4NT command prompt, it said the product is still an evaluation version with X days left before expiration.

Can 4NT 8.02 be installed on Windows 7 and if so, what do I need to do to get my license properly registered?

Thanks.

This is usually due to Windows 7 (like Vista) blocking registry writes for
non-admin users. You can either right-click on 4NT and select "Run as
Administrator" and enter the registration information, or download the .INI
key version of 4NT which writes the registration information into a file in
the 4NT directory. (Note that if you do this, you cannot install 4NT in
"c:\program files\..." as Windows 7 will not allow you to write to those
directories.)
