Another help quibble: The help page for %_WOW64DIR says "_WOW64 returns the system Wow64 directory (x64 Windows only)." That should be _WOW64DIR, of course.
Is it true that this variable always returns an empty string under x86 Windows? Seems like it would make a better test for x64 Windows than _WOW64 or _X64 (which depend on TCC's 64-bithood) or relying on environment variables (easily changed) or hitting the registry.
