Another Problem with The Installer

After you have installed, when you double click the icon on the desktop for TC you get a menu box asking for your registration information. THAT DON'T WORK!!!!!!!! You fill it out but then TCC (which is all that I use) still tells you that you are not registered. You have to go into TC and ferret ou the registration box there (NOT the easiest thing to find) and fill out THAT menu to actually register the program!! PAIN!!!
 
That is not correct -- TCMD and TCC share the same registration key.

More likely is that you have a Windows Policy or a third-party app that is blocking TCMD from writing to the registry. Right click on the TCMD icon and select "run as administrator", and do the registration in that elevated session and it should work everywhere from that point on (elevated and non-elevated).
