Beeps & vBeeps

Hello everyone,

On my machine, the default beep is very loud and annoying. I've changed the default frequency and duration to make it not sound too bad, but I just dont' like it.

I do, however, like the ability to use default sounds with vBeep (such as: vbeep hand). Is there a way to make the default beep a vbeep? In other words, have internal functions (like *list) use vbeep instead of beep?

I'm guessing not, but thought I would pose the question. If not, perhaps for a later build....

Thanks,

Michael

No, there's no way to do that.

I'll add it to the suggestion list for v12.

I'd like to see this in v12 also. When the system sound level is normal, the TCC beep is indeed very loud.
