Can DIRHISTORY read from clip:?

Adding CLIP: support to individual commands is a significant amount of work, so it only gets done when somebody actually requests it for a specific command. Nobody has ever requested it for HISTORY / DIRHISTORY. (Which would seem to indicate a general lack of interest!)

I was just curious ... not requesting it.
