For those of you who use apt-get to install & upgrade applications when using the Bash shell, like I do, you may want to know about a similar product for Windows, called Chocolatey, available from [title]
I have been using this for a couple of years now, and it is a quick and efficient method of installing and upgrading apps on Windows systems.
If you are running Windows 7 or above, and would prefer a GUI instead of a CLI, you can install [title] once you have Chocolatey installed.
If you are running Windows Vista or XP, you can only use the CLI.
