CMD.EXE icon

Hi

I keep seeing the icon for CMD.EXE appearing for TCC processes

1) If I fire up Task Manager, all TCC 9.02 sessions have the icon from CMD.EXE (or SHELL32.DLL ???) not the TCC icon.

2) If I am shutting down, TCC 9.02 sessions active on the task bar briefly switches to the CMD.EXE icon before the task vanishes.

3) If I am closing a TCC window, the icon in the top-left corner briefly switches to the CMD.EXE icon before the window closes.

There are probably other instances.

Anyway, not unduly bothered as it is a cosmetic thing.

Cheers

That's a known bug in Windows's icon handling for console programs. Rex has tried to work around it in past releases, but that led to complaints about the TCC icon being shown for other console programs launched within TCC....

Rumor has it that the next user to mention this bug may be selected to participate in a demonstration of multihull keelraking.
