I hadn't used console popup windows in a long time. They don't work correctly. If you scroll away from the last (bottom) line, nothing is selected, and the blinking cursor appears at the beginning of the "────────────── History ──────────" line (or "Directories" line). The only thing that can be recalled is the last line.
