If I enter a command line That is longer than 98character it vanishes over the right hand side,Yes it wraps but a number of characters -
(17) have been swallowed. Can this be altered
MIKE

They are not swallowed. To see them use the horizontal scroll bar.

To avoid the problem, adjust the width of your TCMD window to get rid of the horizontal scroll bar, or adjust the number of columns so that a horizontal scroll bar isn't needed.

Rex, can scrolling be made automatic if you type past the visible part of the command line?

OK I guess adjusting colomn number is somewhere in OPTION .I cam'fid it

My mistake! Adjust things by resizing the TCMD window. But you can't go below 80 columns without getting horizontal scrolling.

There is no such thing as command line input in a TCMD tab window. TCMD is mirroring the action in the hidden console window; it doesn't know whether you're entering something on a command line or displaying command output. And trying to determine that would slow everything down even more.
