dbDOSv and 4DOS

While I have seen 4DOS included in several open source programs, this is the first time I have seen it included in a commercial program.

Somewhere it says that it's based on DOSBox. The single-user license is quite high--$149, and an upgrade is $119.

Is it actually INCLUDES 4DOS? Or simply copies its functionality?

The 4DOS.COM file is installed at two locations, probably due to ignorance (and hurry to release dbDOSv). The binary image is already embedded in the DOS emulator itself. So the external 4DOS.COM files aren’t needed, they won’t be executed ever.
