Hi

Using
TCC 13.04.63 Windows XP Prforessional [Version 5.1.2600]

I am finding that simple dir on some ftp connections does not always return the full list of files present

These files are weekly in January 2011 and I just repeating variations of the same command

[K:\Attribution\Archive]dir /b ftP:aw_audit_201101*.*
aw_audit_20110103.tns
aw_audit_20110110.tns
aw_audit_20110117.tns
aw_audit_20110124.tns
aw_audit_20110131.tns
[K:\Attribution\Archive]dir /b ftP:aw_audit_201101*.*
aw_audit_20110110.tns
aw_audit_20110117.tns
aw_audit_20110124.tns
aw_audit_20110131.tns
[K:\Attribution\Archive]dir /b ftP:aw_audit_2011011*.*
aw_audit_20110110.tns
aw_audit_20110117.tns
[K:\Attribution\Archive]dir /b ftP:aw_audit_2011011*.*
aw_audit_20110117.tns
[K:\Attribution\Archive]dir /b ftP:aw_audit_2011011*.*
aw_audit_20110110.tns
[K:\Attribution\Archive]

As you can see, there are missing files from the list.

I know that for 2011, 52 files are present. But frequently only 51 or 50 are listed, it is rare to see all 52.

Cheers

TCC is completely at the mercy of the FTP site -- it just makes a directory list request of the FTP site and displays the results. I think it's unlikely that TCC is discarding the names (on rare occasions and only on specific sites?); it's more likely the FTP site isn't returning them.

If you can reproduce this on a specific site, send the site info to [email protected] and I'll look into it.
