Says pressing F7 "If you haven't yet entered a file name, the window
will contain the name of all files in the current directory."

However, if I make a new folder that only contains two files "one" and
"two", pressing F7 just beeps. It appears that "all files" really
means all executable files.

Until trying to answer a FilenameCompletion question recently, I was
unaware of this feature at all. RTFM works, can you believe it?

It really means any file that has an association.
