Include Windows Version in Registration Key Email

I just went through my email, back to May of 2012, when I received the Registration Key for Take Command 14.

The email does not indicate what version(s) of Windows that Take Command 14 will work with.

What version(s) of Windows will Take Command 14 work with?

Joe

For future reference, here is a timeline of TCMD releases.

Note that the dates for TCMD release are the dates that I received the registration key after purchase, not necessarily the release dates.

Corrections and additions to the list are welcome.

For a person who uses different Windows versions in Virtual Machines, this will make it easier to determine which version of Take Command to use with what Windows version.

I was curious why I had not purchased version 21, so I looked back into my journal.

I did purchase CMDebug Version 21 (September 15, 2017), and had decided to try, for this release, only CMDebug and TCC Runtime.

I decided purchasing Version 22, and forward, was a better solution.

I've added CMDebug 21 to my previous post. I'm pretty sure that TCMD was released at the same time, but I'll leave it at this for now.

4nt from 2.5 onwards work under windows 7. I still use 4nt/tcmd 8.01, since that gives me three separate prompts. tcmd 8.01 is mostly for starting other programs, and running my rexx calculator when cut and paste it.

I upgrade various windows proggies, and you should hardly want tcc to fall over for a windows upgrade or whatever.

Code:
         4DOS 4OS2/4NT TCMD
   v10 4.00 1.00 12a b
   v20 5.00 2.00 12a b 1 OS/2 16-bit
   v25 5.50 2.50 12a 1.00 2w b 2 OS/2 32-bit
   v30 6.00 3.00 2a 2.00 2wa ri a w32 ASCII (9x)
   v40 7.00 4.00 a 3.00 a r u w32 Unicode (NT)
   v50 7.50 5.00 au 5.00 au r w w16
   v60 -TCI- 6.00 au 6.00 au r b brand
   v70 1.00 7.00 u 7.00 u r r registry key
   v80 2.00 8.00 u 8.00 u ri i inifile
   v90 9.00 u ri

This table shows the various releases to vers 9.0 (after which would not run on W2K). 'a' versions run under win 9x/nt 4,5.0. u versions run on vista (6.x+, never got into xp).
