Indent test

In my last two posts I used the web interface to indent text, like this:

When the emails arrived the text which appears indented on the web is (line by line) surrounded by HTML tags whose contents are "[email protected]" and "/[email protected]" (incased in the customary less/greater symbols). ... very strange.

I have attached indent.jpg so you can see what I see.
