Folks,
I am getting error lines like this:
TCC: (Sys) C:\Program Files\bat\thecus_test_pass.btm [22] Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
when trying to copy data to a NAS box running Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 Essentials using a command like:
copy /nj /r /s /q d:\test\out\Big_20GB\ l:\test\in\Big_20GB\
where the directory concerned contains 10 2GB files and seems to receive this error more consistently than any other copy. My question is whether or not there is any way to tell whether it is the local end that is generating this error or the server end, since I cannot find anything in the event log of either machine.
FWIW I am almost certain that it is the remote end since I've never seen this error when copying to the system disk on the NAS box, only when copying into Storage Spaces volumes, which leads me to the unfortunate conclusion that my brand new Thecus W5000 isn't fit for purpose, at least not in its out of the box configuration :(
