I felt like telling someone. Maybe the first below will be of some interest.

Quite by accident (I was afraid to try it on purpose) I discovered that the Win7 services desktop can be used via remote desktop. That is, if you're RD'ing and switch to it, you really switch to it.

Also I successfully replaced left-button switch in an ancient Logitech TrackMan Marble.
