Like to know what JP in JPSoft means

I know Soft in JPSoft means software but not sure what the JP means. Is it the initials of who started the company?

Nice to know. One of my favorite actresses is from Boston, I watched "Cheers" about a Boston Pub, I grew up watching and then reading Robert B. Parker's "Spenser, For Hire" series about a Boston Private Investigator, and my sister went to Amhurst College - not in Boston but in Mass anyway....

In the mid-70's Route 128 in Boston was a major electronics development and manufacturing area (also Long Island), something like Silicon Valley is today for software.
