The current version of the EMAIL function does not accept addresses with uppercase letters. I frequently write addresses with uppercase letters to make them easier to read (e.g., [email protected]). I can't recall ever having a problem with that. If I am not mistaken, domain names must be case-insensitive, and I have not run into any email server that rejected a user name with uppercase letters.
I created a user function to replace EMAIL with several additions of "A-Z" after "a-z" to accept the uppercase letters.
