Multiple File Explorer instances?

I think the answer is no but I'll ask it anyway. Can Take Command have multiple docked File Explorer windows? I'm working with multiple locations in a project and having the ability to drag folder references from multiple places into my command lines would be awesome.

Thanks Rex. Are you talking about multiple Windows File Explorer or Take Command File Explorer windows? Unfortunately I typically run TC elevated so interaction between a non-elevated and elevated app is restricted and I can't drag and drop from a Windows File Explorer. If you're talking about the TC File Explorer, how do I launch that externally?

I've tried running c:\windows\explorer.exe elevated and while it does prompt me to confirm running as admin, it still will not interact with TC.. Not sure if it truly didn't launch elevated even though it prompted to confirm or if there is something else going on stopping the interaction.

I can confirm that. Windows explorer does not open elevated even though it prompts, and files cannot be dragged to an elevated TCC. Files can be dragged to a non-elevated TCC.

Maybe Rex knows why that is.
