there's a NNTP Gateway for Vbulletin (see
VBNntpGateway - vBulletin.org Forum).
Any chance it will get installed for the new forums, or are you just
glad to let usenet support die?

It's not what you think-- that plugin is to allow vBulletin users to read Usenet newsgroups from a forum, not to read vBulletin forums from a newsgroup.
