Output filters
I often find that I am digging through copious amounts of text output from build tools. I would love it if I could turn on visual filters (based off regular expressions) I had built to colorize all text in the buffer various ways.
Simple things like filename line number patterns becoming another color or the word error getting highlighted in red, warning in yellow.
