Python 3.8.2 Support in 26?

I received the upgrade notification for v26 and I see that it now supports python 3.8.2 but I don't see that version available on the ActiveState web page. Has TCC moved to a different python backend? That has been the only reason I haven't used the embedded python support but if it supports the standard python.org release or Anaconda then I'm in.

TCC uses the Windows version at Python.org.

How long has that been the case? The v25 help for PYTHON reads:

The Python language is not built into TCC, and must be obtained separately. The version supported by TCC is ActivePython (free from www.activestate.com).

It's been the case for several years; apparently it got missed in the help.
