reame.txt failure in installer

There is a long-standing bug in the installer. At the end of the install it gives you the option of viewing the release notes. If you select this, it fails because the name of the file on my system is :
"F:\Program Files\JpSoft\TCMD12x64\readme.txt"
not
F:\Program Files\JpSoft\TCMD12x64\readme.txt

I have no problems with opening readme.txt in either the 32-bit or 64-bit installers. (I always install to "c:\program files\JPSoft\TCMD12x64".)

I'm unclear as to exactly what you're saying -- do you mean that you somehow have an illegal filename "F:\Program Files\JpSoft\TCMD12x64\readme.txt" on your system? Or that something is stripping the quotes from the filename before passing it to notepad (or whatever you've defined as the association for .TXT files)?

Can you tell me the *exact* error message you're seeing?

Anybody else ever had a problem with displaying readme.txt?
