There is a bullet which one can click to go to the first unread reply in a topic between the link for the author and the link for the original post in the topic. However, you cannot tab to it (using FireFox).

I used to (using the old forum software), get to it by typing a few characters in the topic title and then Shift+Tab then Space to open the first unread message in the topic. This doesn't work with XenForo.

Rex, would you please ask the XenForo folks to make that link reachable by tab?

You don't need the bullet. If there are new posts in a thread, the thread title will take you to the first one. So: type an apostrophe, the first few letters of the thread title, and then Enter.
