Saving scripts

I am slowly building a script with tcmd functions to modify hundreds of items in a database but the only way I can think to save the script is in a text file as I don't see any sort of script file native to tcmd as opposed to say a vbs script or a bat script. So when I resume work I just open the text file and copy and past the text into tcmd window.

Is this normal or should I be doing something else?

BTM files are native to TCMD, and if you run tccbatch.btm located in the installation directory, it'll set the association for you.
