TCC Build 35 has a bug.

No matter how many times I correct the background colour of some icon by clicking in upper left of the running box : properties, the next time it reverts back to some screwy colour scheme.

In previous versions, this colour scheme persisted.

I'm not sure what you're referring to.

If you mean you're clicking on the icon of a TCC console and changing the
colors there, that's not how you change TCC colors. Run OPTION, select
"Windows", and select your colors in the Colors group. If you don't want
TCC to set colors, just reset the Output / Input / Error color options to
"Default".

The "screwy colour scheme" you're referring to is probably one you
previously selected via OPTION and that was saved in your TCMD.INI file.
