startup switches

Hello -- I have some batch files that start tcmd -- what is the best way to
pass start up switches specified when starting tcmd to tcc when tcmd opens a tab?

Thanks for the info --- so if want to override an "ini directive" and place on the command line //item=value, the value of "value" for "item" with supersede the text in the ini file for "item?"

Lastly I seem to have been using these directive ini files from the time of 4nt ---- I see that there are multiple section in the ini file, like 4nt, primary and takecommnd. is there and order what section tcc will read from -- Thanks
