Strange happenings

I just installed TCMD v11, and (again) two things happened:

At the end of the install, where it asks if I want to start TCMDD, and I say "Yes", what it does is open "My COmputer."

Secondly, although I always select the "Start Menu option during install, the icons are never placed there.

Am I doing something wrong here?

I'm running TCMD on a Windows 7 machine...

Regards,
Chuck Billow

One possible explanation is that you have fallen victim to Windows 7 virtualized folders.

In other words, files and folders created by the installation program may have been send to different locations by Windows 7, so that TCMD-related shortcuts and paths now lead astray.

Here is some information from Microsoft Support on the subject: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927387

Normally, TCMD 11 should not give such troubles under Windows 7. Did you perhaps install it from a user account with limited rights?

Sorry I took so long to get back...

I'll take a look at the link and no, I have Admin rights.

Thanks,
Chuck
