Are there any detailed examples or tutorials of the additional 250 commands, 390 functions and 320 variables that the Take Command Language adds?

There is the tutorials page, but the best examples for commands, functions, and variables can be found by doing a Google search.

For example, if I wanted to see everything in the JPSoft forum about pshell, I would search Google with pshell site:jpsoft.com

I've been collecting snippets from the forum for each command, function, and variable. I put them into my TCC RightNote for my future reference.
