Unable to end tcc.exe process

WinXP sp 3
TCC 10.00.60

command line:
for %a in (*) if exist ..\2009-web%a del ..\2009-web%a

I tried this several times, and it stopped processing on one file each time. Using Ctrl-C (or Ctrl-Break, I tried both), I couldn't stop the loop, but TakeCommand shut down, leaving the orphaned tcc.exe processes.

Windows Task Manager can't end the processes, nor can Windows shut down. I finally had to use the power switch.

Can you replicate this problem in the current build 61? It's my understanding that the latest build should fix Control-Break issues.
