Unable to install 10.00.50

If I try to Install 10.00.50 to a directory other than C:\Program Files\....
I get a message box about an unavialable network resource at "C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxi\Application Data\JP Software\Take Command 10.0\install\"

The directory to which I am trying to Install has been the TCMD directory for quite a few versions and always installed OK.

(One other piece of information, which might be relevant, I previously deleted the registry key because of the Ctrl-C issue)

I "solved" the problem by installing into a new clean directory.

This has never been a problem before, I have always installed over the current version.

Cannot install to existing Tcmd directory (as above) ?

Nothing has changed in the installer.
