v28 key files

In %ProgramData%\\JP Software\ I have TakeCommand.28 which contains:

[Take Command v28 Registration]
Key=aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaaa-aaaaaaaaa

---

where Key=actual value from registration email from Rex.

But TCMD still says it's not registered?

I don't believe that's possible unless something went wrong with your installation (like you were installing over an existing v27 installation, without uninstalling the old one first).

What is the *exact* message you're getting when you start Take Command?
