Anybody here still using Firefox? Try this:

Make sure Firefox is updated to the current version, 15.0.1. Then start Firefox from the command line, either by simply typing the program name, or using START /PGM, or (if it's your default browser) by typing a URL.

Return to the shell from which you launched Firefox. Press Control-C. Wave bye-bye.

Wave bye-bye.
A customer of ours uses firefox (release 3) in this way. When You say "Wave bye-bye" what do You mean? What happens? I apologize, but right now I cannot afford testing (if it crashes the system). I am busy enough with the Sophos antivirus that puts its own files in quarantine.

Thank You very much and regards

Now THAT is hilarious!!! (referring to the stupid antivirus, not your difficulties)
