Windows Common Dialogue Boxes

Is there a way to invoke and retrieve information from the standard Windows Open File, Save As, colour selection and other dialogue boxes that I am not seeing?

There are a number of variable functions to do those things:

@COLOR
@GETDATE
@GETDATETIME
@GETDIR
@GETFILE
@GETFOLDER

And so on.
