I am one of those bad guys that download (also) directly from ftp. I just tried to check if in the ftp site there were some news, and I saw a message that says that it reached the maximum number of users. It's ok for me, but the maximum number is 3 (three)? Do You want to switch off ftp completely? How can I be one of those three?

It's not 3 total users on the ftp server, it's 3 users on your IP.
