Purpose:Toggle the shell's transient mode

 

Format:TRANSIENT [on | off]

 

Usage:

 

TRANSIENT allows you to change the shell's transient mode (i.e., whether it was started with a /C), so that you can make a transient session permanent (or vice versa).
