Declined Change to /tabtint Option with WINDOW

I experimented with assigning a tabtint to each TCC tab depending on whether it was elevated, ConPTY, or legacy. Then I noticed a problem. Without a tabtint assigned, one can tell which tab is active by the dark bar at the top. With tabtints assigned, the colored stripe overwrites the usual bar that indicates the active tab, so one can no longer tell which tab is active.

I would suggest moving the tabtint stripe to the bottom of the tab.

It is not possible to move the tabtint stripe to the bottom, because the selected theme will simply overwrite it. Only the top of the tab can be colored.

However, the tab highlighting to indicate the active tab is dependent on the theme in use. Some color the tab, some highlight it, some stripe it. You can select a theme that doesn't stripe the top.

Thank you. That works nicely. I had not experimented with other themes in ages.

I have discovered a minor problem. Right now, I'm using "Office 2016 Colorful" and noticed that the character map tool does not change its letters in the icon from black to white. As a result, the icon nearly vanishes from sight. The same problem occurs with the "Office 2016 Grey" and "Office 2016 Black" themes. The Regex helper tool also could use a change when it is on a darker background.
