I wanted to make some changes to the if structures to see If I could get past this problem of failed breakpoints and just skpping over the processing of these ifs. I wanted to replace the brackets in the first if with " just to see if it made a difference. I highlighted the first If structure expecting that search and replace would have a restriction option to just replace within the selected text as most replaces do these days. Turned out that wasn't an option and there was no replace button option initailly so I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. I clicked next which took me to the second bracket without changing the first. Now I see a replace button and I replace and I change the direction to UP and click next and of course it goes to the next one lower iin the code. I was shocked myself so I tried again and yet againg instead of going up it went down. Next is really down so I guess there should be a previous or prior? The whole thing was kind of confusing.
