CMDebug won't load

Last night I checked for an update and it said there was one avilable 26.1.51 I think it was. When I tried to install it it lockjed itself out because I was in CMDebug36 then there was an issue with English.dll being locked. I finally got it installed. Today I went to use it and now I'm getting this:

Did you use the updater in CMDebug or download it directly from the web site?

There was a bug in early v36 versions where the updater would try to download and install tcmd.exe instead of cmdebug.exe. This should have been fixed in later builds (but you need the later build to get the correct updater, so simply downloading the newer build won't work).

If you used the updater, try downloading the current build (36.01.55) from the website:

It was the one downloaded through the CMDebuger 36.1.52 I think it was. The new one loaded unfortunately with the same problem as I documented with the US (Ascii heart) in front of the IF statements.

But I am able to start CMDebug.

I cannot do anything about you seeing the US in front of the IF statements unless you post the batch file.

I suspect you have some non-ASCII characters embedded in the file.

My money's on %@CHAR[31], the ASCII Unit Separator.

See the direct message I sent and try downloading that version.
