ConPTY "display problem"

For example: after I made a dir /s somewhere and abandoned with Strg+C the "prompt" shows like that:

mostly this way:

or rarely so:

Look at the beginning of prompt ...

After I make a cls OR I click to another tab and back it disappears.

This happens in ConPTY only, NEVER in Conhost.

PS: Build 49, Win 11 Pro, all drivers updated (incl. graphics driver) ...

No way for me to try to reproduce that without knowing your PROMPT string.

Happens even with non colored $p$g ... at least that with the underline ... So it seems thats not a prompt issue but the effect is there, at the beginning of the line.

I can reproduce something like that (occasionally) by interrupting DIR /S with Ctrl-C.

My PROMPT string is e[0m$e[92m$p$g$s$e[0m$e[?25h.

Heh! I thought I'd try it with another prompt.

As in my last pic, once it happens it seems to be stuck there.

And, above, the first time it happened, PROMPT had already been unset. And, as @Alpengreis said, the corruption goes away when the tab is redrawn.
