explain Auto Attach Consoles

The description for the Auto Attach Consoles option in "Take Command > Tabs" help says:
"Auto Attach Consoles converts all new console windows on the same virtual desktop as Take Command to Take Command tab windows."

Can someone please explain this differently? Maybe a screen shot or something else to help explain it better.

Try it. Turn that option on, and then run a console program. For example, press Win-R to open the Run dialog, type cmd and press Enter. See what happens.

In addition to what Charles said, this will only work for non-ConPTY sessions. (It is not possible for Take Command to attach a ConPTY session; this is an architectural limitation in Windows.)
