Fun with color schemes in TCMD 36

With TCMD 36 using ConPty you can do quite a bit with color schemes. The BTM attached should instantly apply any of (the latest preview) WT's 16 color schemes. It works like this.

Code:
v:\theme_bin> wtcolors.btm /?
WTCOLORS.BTM /L - list the color schemes
WTCOLORS.BTM N [/C] - apply color scheme N
/C - clear everything; default: clear current to end of display
0 <= N <= 16

v:\theme_bin> wtcolors.btm /L
 0  Campbell
 1  Campbell Powershell
 2  CGA
 3  Dark+
 4  Dimidium
 5  IBM5153
 6  One Half Dark
 7  One Half Light
 8  Ottosson
 9  Solarized Dark
10  Solarized Light
11  Tango Dark
12  Tango Light
13  Vintage
14  VSCode Dark Modern
15  VSCode Light Modern
16  My Ottosson

Notes:

If TCMD is not configured to use ConPty by default, you can start it using ConPty like this:

Code:
(path)\tcmd.exe //ConPty=Yes

TCMD (and WT) know 20 "special" colors ... the usual 16-color palette plus default foreground, default background, cursor, and selection background. WTCOLORS.BTM just emits the 20 VT control sequences needed to change those colors. The control sequences for changing them individually are below. RR/GG/BB are 2-digit hex numbers (00-FF). You can send control sequences with ECHOS. Note that ^e] (known as OSC) is quite different from ^e[ (known as CSI); ^e\ (known as ST) is the customary sequence terminator for OSC sequences.

16-color palette: color N (0-15): ^e]4;N;rgb:RR/GG/BB^e\

The other 4: ^e]N;rgb:RR/GG/BB^e\ where ...

N = 10 for default foreground
N = 11 for default background
N = 12 for cursor
N = 17 for selection background

^e[0J will clear/repaint the screen from the current position downward and ^e[2J^e[3J^e[H will clear/repaint everything.

The BTM also works in WT but WT does things a bit differently. WT immediately repaints the entire interface without erasing any text.

"My Ottosson" is my own slight variation on the "Ottosson" scheme.

(Unrelated) You can also get 24M colors on the fly with the likes of these. See this doc for more details.

Thanks, Vince!

Works just GREAT!

Just a hint: @echo off would be useful if echo is on default.
