History problem (build 49)

After I took the wrong command from advanced history window "dir \windows \s" and type then manually the correct command "dir \windows /s" I can't stop with Ctrl+C.

Happens in ConPTY and Conhost.

Happens only after used from advanced history. Means: If I type "dir \windows \s" and then "dir \windows /s" Ctrl+C works always.

Not reproducible here, though I'm unclear exactly what you're doing. Can you provide a step-by-step reproducible failcase?

1. I typed command "dir \windows \s", so that was after in the advanced history
2. In TCC (regardless if its standalone TCC Conhost or TCC ConPTY/Conhost tab in TCMD), I open advanced history window with <Strg>+<Shift>+<CursorPgDn>
3. I select that wrong command "dir \windows \s" and let it execute with <Enter> which produces/displays the error:
"TCC: (Sys) Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
"C:\s""
4. I type manually then the correct command "dir \windows /s". And I can't stop it with <Strg>+C

And as I said:

If I make the same WITHOUT the advanced history window, means:
I type first:
dir \windows \s
and then:
dir \windows /s
it works, I CAN stop with <Strg>+C

So, it's only not working when I used the advanced history window!

I'd like to try this but I'm having trouble using XHISTORY. I did XHISTORY ON. Ctrl-Shift-PgDn shows the dialog. The last entry is from a couple months ago. New commands are not recorded.

I can reproduce this. I can't abort a command re-executed from the XHISTORY dialog with Ctrl-C but I can with Ctrl-Break.

Apparently, XHISTORY ON is not enough to have new commands recorded. I had to enable it in the OPTION dialog.

Ctrl-C issue should be fixed in build 51 (already uploaded).
