@select like 4DOS

I am converting a 4DOS application that utilized @select. In 4DOS, the @select window could not be moved about the screen, as can the TCC @select window. Also, if one has several tabs open, and one switches to another tab, the TCC @select window appears in the tab to which it does not belong.

Is there is a way to keep the TCC @select window from moving about the screen, and keeping it restricted to the tab from which is was started? A bonus would be the ability to change the colours of the @select window.

Thanks from Joe.

Not exactly; the @select window is floating on top and doesn't belong to any
tab window.

This is WAD; people wanted to be able to move the window around and even out
of the TC tab window completely.

No, and no.

That would be a bit bizarre, since it's a normal Windows list control. The
UI change would IMHO be jarring and unfriendly.
