In TCMD, I wish there was a keystroke that would create a new tab and put the new tab in a new horizontal group.

Vertical group too. And I wish I could specify on the command line that I want it to start with a vertical tab group, both shells (or at least one) as specified. Creating a vertical group is hard (unless I have missed something). I must first open a new tab and then create the group. That should be one operation (or a keystroke).
